It is pretty surprising. I have written on this platform for almost a whole year in about 20 days. It is crazy!!! Thank you to all the 505 views (as of now) that I have received. I am just not going to mention the reading time because it probably reflects to my first payment from this platform hehe.
This platform I started on my first year of college. I think not having regular social media apps really allowed me to step forward into finding other creative outlets and platforms that seem more mentally healthy for me.
And I was able to find Medium. I never really thought about getting paid from here, I just found it nice. But this is great. College students love money and that is exactly what my bank account is lacking. And 10 cents is money.
I have always loved designer products, and I feel like I get a lot of exposure to many different and great things in life. The designer world is always going to be a part of me. I don’t hate that experience or regret any of my purchases. But to this day, I really hope I don’t get into that world unless I am genuinely interested in the product and not because of the name or brand.
And I mean if I become a billionaire, then maybe the story will be different. But hopefully I remember to always stay humble and give my respect to my money.
I have been pretty stressed, and I think the whole world has an extra weight on their shoulders in 2020. This year has brought many interesting things into our lives. I know interesting isn’t the best word, but it’s an okay word to describe the big bundled package we received.
When I got a text from Medium about the 10 cents I was getting, I was like NO WAYYYYY! I thought it was a scam, but it was real. I was genuinely happy and that bought a smile to my face after a rocky start of my semester.
Therefore, look out for the positives in life and great things yet to come. We can’t dwell in the past, but continue to move forward even if the start is slow and may seem to take forever.
And we are reaching the end of this year, which is even crazier. We can do this everyone. Before we start a new page, let’s end the final chapters with some positivity and strength.
